Our HVAC Control Installation Services

Smart Thermostat Installation

We install and program smart thermostats that offer advanced scheduling, remote control, and learning features. These thermostats improve comfort, reduce energy usage, and give users complete control over temperature settings via mobile apps, voice commands, or web platforms—ideal for both residential and commercial applications.

HVAC Zoning Systems

Our zoning solutions divide buildings into separate climate zones, each with independent temperature control. This allows for more precise comfort settings in different areas and reduces energy waste. Zoning systems are perfect for multi-use facilities, large homes, or commercial properties with varying occupancy and heating or cooling needs.

Occupancy and Motion Sensors

We install occupancy and motion sensors that adjust HVAC settings based on room usage. When spaces are unoccupied, the system reduces output to save energy. These sensors automatically restore comfort when activity is detected, maximizing efficiency without sacrificing user experience or requiring manual adjustments.

Building Management System (BMS) Integration

We design and install BMS platforms that centralize HVAC, lighting, and other building operations. These systems offer real-time monitoring, scheduling, data logging, and alerts. Ideal for large buildings, they simplify control and deliver insights that help optimize performance, reduce downtime, and manage energy consumption effectively.

Remote Monitoring and Control Setup

We set up systems that allow you to monitor and control HVAC equipment remotely. Adjust temperatures, receive alerts, and analyze performance from your smartphone or computer. This feature is especially beneficial for multi-location businesses, property managers, or anyone who wants full control from anywhere.

System Retrofitting and Automation Upgrades

We retrofit existing HVAC systems with automation-compatible components like smart thermostats, dampers, and sensors. This modernizes your setup without requiring a full replacement. Our upgrades bring older systems in line with today’s efficiency and automation standards, enhancing control, reducing costs, and extending system lifespan.

Benefits of Automated HVAC Control Installation

Energy Efficiency and Cost Savings

Automated HVAC systems dramatically reduce energy consumption by adjusting operation based on real-time usage, occupancy, and environmental conditions. This translates to lower utility bills for homes and businesses in Twin Falls and nearby towns like Jerome or Kimberly, without sacrificing indoor comfort or climate control.

Enhanced Indoor Comfort

Smart HVAC controls maintain consistent temperatures across zones, respond to daily usage patterns, and allow for individual comfort settings. Whether in a Filer residence or a Hansen office building, users experience fewer hot or cold spots and better air distribution throughout the space.

Remote Monitoring and Accessibility

Manage your heating and cooling from anywhere with connected platforms. Whether you're away from your Buhl home or managing multiple properties in Southern Idaho, remote HVAC control offers real-time data, instant alerts, and full system access from your smartphone, tablet, or PC.

Optimized System Performance

By minimizing overuse and enabling balanced heating or cooling, automation reduces system wear and tear. Fewer breakdowns and service calls mean longer-lasting equipment and better return on your HVAC investment for homeowners and commercial building managers alike.

Customizable Zoning and Room Control

With HVAC zoning, each room or area operates independently based on need and occupancy. This is especially useful for large homes in Twin Falls or commercial spaces with varying use, such as offices, retail areas, or multi-tenant facilities.

Future-Ready Technology Integration

Our automated HVAC control installation supports integration with broader smart home or building management systems. Whether it's syncing with lighting systems or energy monitoring tools, these controls future-proof your property and simplify facility management across all platforms.

Smarter HVAC, Smarter Spaces

In an era where convenience, energy savings, and intelligent building management matter more than ever, HVAC automation offers a powerful advantage. It transforms your heating and cooling system from a basic utility into a precision tool, one that responds to your preferences, optimizes performance, and delivers real-time insights. Our automation services are backed by decades of field expertise, deep knowledge of smart controls, and a commitment to seamless integration. Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is an automated HVAC control system?

An automated HVAC control system uses smart thermostats, occupancy sensors, and scheduling software to regulate heating and cooling. It adjusts temperature settings based on usage, time, or external conditions, improving energy efficiency, comfort, and convenience, while also enabling remote access and real-time system monitoring via connected platforms.

  • Can I install smart controls in my existing HVAC system?

Yes, we can retrofit your current HVAC system with smart technology. This includes adding programmable thermostats, zoning capabilities, and occupancy sensors. These upgrades enhance control and efficiency without requiring a complete replacement, allowing you to enjoy the benefits of automation at a more affordable cost.

  • How much energy can automation save?

HVAC automation typically reduces energy use by 20–30%, depending on building size and usage patterns. Smart scheduling, zoning, and occupancy-based controls reduce unnecessary heating or cooling, helping lower utility bills while maintaining consistent indoor comfort across residential, commercial, and industrial properties.

  • Are smart HVAC controls suitable for commercial buildings?

Yes, smart controls are ideal for commercial buildings. They allow zone-based temperature settings, integrate with building management systems, and enable remote access. These features improve comfort, extend system life, and reduce energy costs, making them a valuable investment for offices, retail spaces, and multi-tenant facilities.

  • What’s the difference between zoning and a smart thermostat?

A smart thermostat manages the overall HVAC system, offering scheduling and remote control. Zoning divides a property into sections with individual temperature controls. When combined, they provide precise, customizable comfort in each area, making your system more efficient and responsive to specific space needs.

  • Can I control my HVAC remotely?

Yes. With Wi-Fi-enabled controls, you can monitor temperatures, change settings, and receive system alerts using a smartphone, tablet, or computer. Remote access offers convenience, real-time feedback, and peace of mind—especially useful for multi-property managers, business owners, or frequent travelers.

  • Do automated controls help extend equipment life?

Yes. Automation reduces unnecessary runtime, balances load across system components, and prevents overheating or short cycling. These benefits reduce mechanical stress and wear, resulting in fewer repairs and extending the overall life of your HVAC system while enhancing reliability and day-to-day performance.

  • What brands or platforms do you install?

We install and support leading automation brands like Honeywell, Nest, Ecobee, Trane, and more. Our team recommends the best platform for your needs, building type, and budget, ensuring reliable performance, ease of use, and seamless integration with your existing or upgraded HVAC system.

Highly recommend Jesse and White Mechanical !! I came home from a 2 week hospital stay after a bad car accident in August, my house was hot and ac wasn't working. It was a Saturday afternoon, I called the company that installed it and they wouldn't come out. It went from 70 to 82 by 9 pm, didn't know who to call , I was in bad shape still so I needed it fixed asap, luckily I called Jesse. He was going out of town for a few days the next morning but said he could come over that night. A major component blew and he was able to fix my ac unit and get it working properly again. He went out of his way and saved the day !! I skipped calling the company that installed it for a spring check on the ac unit and called Jesse first. He worked with my schedule around doctors appts to come over. Goes above and beyond to make sure your taken care of and everything is working properly. Very fair prices, honest and reliable to a fault. I highly recommend Jesse and will call him with all questions and services from here on out. Thanks again for everything everything Jesse !! I really appreciate it and you !!

I’ve had Jesse from White’s Mechanical do several jobs for me over the years. Most recently, we had a total failure of the outside A/C unit. He was not only able to upgrade that, but the furnace, as well, and for a better price than the other quotes I had received. I have and will continue to recommend him to all my friends and family, as he has earned my trust. I believe you will have an equally great experience with Jesse and his guys! Thanks for your hard work fellas!
